I tried to corral some sheep today, but they were having none of it. My dusty desert musk must have scared them off. I think I’ve gotten my decades dose of rain this week.

Basalt columns?
Basalt is neat stuff. It can be made into a fiber, similar to carbon fiber:

When Dragon Age: Inquisition came out, I’m pretty sure I didn’t know that that type of terrain was real (there’s a map with formations like that). But my knowledge of the world has since broadened! Though I still haven’t seen such things in real life...
